This pillow cake using sandwich maker was in my to try list since a long time.Every time I plan to try this cake some other priorities take over.Finally last week I set out to try so used my no fail recipe as base and tried with wheat flour and coconut sugar. The cake out so soft and spongy..now I understand why the name ‘pillow cake‘. This is so easy to make that you can use any cake recipe, the cake is great to pack for kids snack box. Expert Tips
The recipe I referred did not use milk but I added it as the batter was thick. If you are using white flour then you may not require milk. Adjust measure of milk accordingly. You can use white flour replacing wheat flour and regular sugar too. Keep an eye after 4 mins as each sandwich make is different.
