Peanut ladoo is made with peanuts and jaggery as main ingredients.It is very easy to make, tastes delicious and healthy too.This can be packed for kids snackbox too. As its soft and has a melt in the mouth texture all will like it especially kids. I love anything made with peanuts so kadalai urundai and this peanut ladoo are my favorite. Generally we make peanut ladoo by making syrup but this is a easy version. I have already posted kadalai mittai with jaggery syrup but this recipe is very simple and easy with no consistency checks. Just powder peanuts along with jaggery and shape them into balls, the only tedious task here is to remove the skin of peanuts. I have given a easy way to remove the ski. We call it as groundnut ladoo too.
About Peanut Ladoo
Peanut ladoo is made using 2 ingredients peanuts and jaggery as main ingredients. As the name tells its so easy to make, just roast peanuts grind it first then grind it along with jaggery and you are done. Just mix it well and shape them as ladoos.
Variations
You can add white sugar replacing jaggery too. In addition you can add 1/4 cup almonds too. You can even add roasted coconut while grinding.
Storing and Serving Suggestions:
Serve peanut ladoo as a snack or pack it for kids snackbox. Peanut ladoo stays good for a week in room temperature itself and 15-20 days in fridge. Store in a clean dry airtight container for later consumption.

Ghee is added just for flavour.Even without ghee the peanut ladoo holds together because of the oil in peanuts. Sweetness is just perfect but if you want more then add 1 cup of jaggery. If you want crunchy texture in your peanut ladoo then grind it even more coarse. Add organic jaggery free from impurities in this case as we are adding it as such.
