This Nungu Payasam Recipe is my own thought got an idea from the Tv show.You can make this nungu payasam when nungu or palm fruit is in season and enjoy it.This payasam was absolutely relished by all of us and I was so  happy that it turned out so tasty inspite of me not adding any rich ingredients. Try it with cane sugar as it adds a great flavour to the payasam.

Expert Tips

The payasam will not be too thick. You can add condensed milk for extra flavour and richness. You can even add saffron for a kesar flavour. Use full fat milk. Cane sugar added a nice flavour to the payasam. If you don’t have cane sugar you can replace it with jaggery or normal sugar. If you are adding jaggery then filter it after adding to remove impurities.
