My murukku does not give continuous lines and breaks.Why?
If butter is more, it might break and will not give continous lines. If the dough is dry and stiff, it might break while pressing.
Squeezing is difficult.Why?
If the dough is stiff and tight then squeezing will be difficult. You can sprinkle little water , mix it and then try again.
What rice flour to use?
Use flour used for making idiyappam. You can make the flour at home else buy readymade packets.

Make a slightly loose nonsticky dough.Should not be too tight else it will start to crumble, you will not get continuous threads. I used flower press,you can use any of your prefered shape.
