“I love the Air Fryer” is an understatement. I have been using the air fryer for the last four years and have used it to grill veggies, make chicken, or just reheat. Some of our favorites are – asparagus, sweet potatoes, plantains, and zucchini.

Air Fryer Corn on the Cob
One of our favorite summer treats is grilled sweet corn on the cob. It takes minimal effort, and everyone loves it. However, I don’t always want to fire up the grill only to make corn. At that time, air fryer comes to the rescue.
Ingredients
Corn: We like to go to farmers’ markets to pick sweet corn for roasting. However, if you cannot find any, you can also use frozen corn on the cob. Olive oil: I like to brush with a little oil. You can also use an oil spray. Salt and pepper: Add to taste, and see more seasoning ideas below.
How to Cook Air Fryer Corn on the Cob?
The best part of using the air fryer roasted corn is that you can use fresh corn or frozen (great for when you can’t get fresh corn at the farmers market). If using fresh corn kernels, remove the husk and silk from the corn ears. You can rinse the corn to remove any dirt. Then, dry it with a paper towel. Cut the sides if you like, or leave them on. You can also cut the corn in half. You can either spray with oil or not. You can also brush some olive oil on top. If you do spray, the corn becomes crispier. Then, place the corn in the air fryer basket. Cook at 380°F (200°C) for 13-15 minutes, turning in between at least once. For frozen corn, add a couple of extra minutes of cooking time.
Buttery Corn on the Cobb
Transfer the cooked corn onto a large plate. Brush with melted butter. Season with salt and pepper. This buttery-grilled corn is the best – tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside. If you love roasting veggies in the air fryer, check out this collection for 25+ Air Fryer Vegetable Recipes.
Spicy Indian Street Style Corn on the Cobb
I grew up eating grilled corn on the street side in Mumbai or at Juhu Beach on a rainy day. So, I want to share that spicy version of grilled corn (called Bhutta) with the world! Mix salt, pepper, and red chili powder in a small bowl. Then sprinkle the mixture on the corn. Or, in the real Indian street-style way – dip half a lime in the spice mix and rub the lime over the corn. Garnish with chopped cilantro. My mouth is watering as I write this post. I am sure you will love it too!
More Variations
Trader Joe’s Chili Lime Seasoning or Tajin can be used on grilled corn. Top with grated parmesan. Make it Mexican street corn: Brush corn with a layer of mayo. Sprinkle chili powder and cotija cheese, and cilantro. Sprinkle some lime juice and serve.
Tips for the Best Roasted Corn on the Cob
Do not overfill: Don’t stack corn on each other, as you want enough room around the corn so they can be air-fried properly. It is okay to cut the corn ears in half to make them fit your air fryer basket. Every air fryer is different. So check the corn frequently towards the end after 12 minutes, and cook to the texture of your liking. The same method works for frozen corn. Just thaw it beforehand.
How to Serve?
You can truly have this corn on the cob anytime, as a snack or as a side. Kids also love it. We love to serve it with summer barbecue-style dishes such as Chicken Tikka or Pesto Orzo Pasta.
How to Store?
Any leftover air-fried corn on the cob can be stored in an airtight container or bag in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, put it back in the air fryer at 360F for 3-4 minutes.
