So this year wanted to try Butterscotch Ice Cream using GMS and CMC.I used this base icecream recipe and flavoured with butterscotch this time as butterscotch flavour is our family favorite. GMS and CMC are extensively used in the food industry as emulsifiers and stabilizers so we can use it without any worries. This is used in ice cream manufacturing units to make soft ice creams.

Expert Tips
I freezed the ice cream in 2 different boxes. You can add 1/4 cup fresh cream if you want. If you are adding add it at the last stage blend once then freeze. Check this post for detailed steps. If you are adding fresh cream just blend it for 2 times. Second time when you blend, blend it along with fresh cream and freeze for 8 hrs.
